Bagdogra to Pheuntsholing
Arrive at Bagdogra airport and transfer to Pheuntsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan! Your exciting Bhutan tour begins today. Pheuntsholing is the second largest town in Bhutan and is located on the Indian border, next to the town of Jaigaon. Evening is free to relax. Overnight at Pheuntsholing.

Day2
Pheuntsholing to Thimphu
After breakfast, proceed for completion of permit formalities. Then we commence our journey to Thimphu. On the way, visit Kharbandi Gumpha, Confluence of Paro Chu & Thimpu Chu. After arrival at Thimphu check in at the hotel. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day3
Thimphu sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten- the stupa which was built in the memory of Bhutan's third King, who is regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. Then visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), from where we get a good view of the Thimphu valley. Moving on, we see the Chang Gangkha Monastery - the oldest temple in the valley, Takin Zoo and Preserve center of Takin - the National Animal of Bhutan. In the afternoon proceed to see Changlimthang Stadium & Archery ground, The Jungshi handmade paper factory and Institute for Zorig Chusum among other sights. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day4
Thimphu to Punakha /Wangdue via Dochula pass ( Approx 70 kms / 2.30 hrs)
After permit ( Permit is not issued on Saturdays, Sundays & Govt holidays) drive to Punakha/Wangdue, with a stop en route at Dochu La Pass ( 3,100 meters), where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of the highest mountains of Bhutan. After a photo break, drive to warm valley of Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong built at the confluence of the Po and Mo Chu Rivers in the 17th Century by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and served as capital of Bhutan until 1955. (Note: The Punakha Dzong is closed in winter months when the monk's body is in Punakha) Also visit Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery in Punakha. Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue.

Punakha /Wangdue to Paro ( Approx 160 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Paro ( Alt. 2200 m/7,300 ft ). On the way enjoy the view of Shaba River Point and Paro airport view. Check in at the hotel. Visit to Tigers Nest. Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger's Nest Monastery, is located in Paro district, Bhutan. The monastery is one of the most venerated places of pilgrimage in the Himalayan. Taktsang clings to the rock towering 800m (2,600feet) above the valley and is located 2,950m (9,678 feet) above the seal level. Overnight in Paro.

Day6
Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) - the first of its kind which has a collection from natural history to religious paintings. Then we then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong (also known as Paro Dzong) which has a long and fascinating history. In the afternoon proceed to see Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasions by the Tibetan armies. Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom. In the evening we have some free time to stroll in Paro town and do some shopping. Overnight at Paro.

Day7
Paro to Pheuntsholing
After breakfast, transfer to Pheuntsholing. Check in at the hotel and later proceed for permit. Overnight at Pheuntsholing.

RETURN HOME

Notes :
- Indian nationals intending to visit Bhutan are required to carry any of the two valid 'Travel Documents' (a) Valid Indian Passport having validity of minimum 6 months; and/or (b) Voter Identity Card, issued by the Election Commission of India
- 500 & 2000 Indian Rupee notes are not allowed in Bhutan, Please carry Indian rupees Notes of INR100 Only.
- On tour Guests are requested to carry Original & 2 photo copy (xerox) of any Photo ID proof i.e. Passport / Voter's ID along with them. Also submit a copy of the same at the time of booking.
- Children below 5years can carry Original - Birth certificate (only in English, any other language they will not be allowed to fly from the origin itself) or Passport
- 6 to 17 year old – School Id original in English or Passport
- On tour guests have to carry 4 passport size photograph for registration.
- Vehicle will be provided according to group size.
