    Arrive in Paro

    Your exciting Bhutan tour begins today! Arrive at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu - the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at Thimphu.

  • Day2

    Thimphu the capital of Bhutan is the home of the Royal family. Visit Tashichhodzong, the main secretariat building which houses the throne room of His Majesty, the king. Further proceed to get a stunning view of the Thimphu valley from BBS Tower. See some of the sites of religious nature like the National Memorial Chorten - built in 1974, it was raised in the memory of the third King. Next, visit one of the oldest monasteries in the valley- Chang Gangkha Monastery. Nature and wildlife lovers should not miss a visit to the National Zoo which also houses national animal - Takin. Visit the National Library (collection of holy scripts) and in the evening visit Buddha point. Overnight at Thimphu.

  • Day3
    Thimphu – Punakha / Wangdue Sightseeing

    After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue Phodrang via Dochu-La-Pass. Continue your journey towards Punakha. Visit Chimi Lhakhang - The Temple of Fertility built in 15th century. Also visit Punakha Dzong. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Punakha.

  • Day4
    Punakha – Paro

    After breakfast, proceed to visit the Ta Dzong, once a fortified lookout tower that is now the National Museum. Then walk down the trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". Next visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. From there you will be taken to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s. On a clear day you can see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan's second-highest mountain at 7,314meters. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

  • Day5
    Paro Sightseeing

    After breakfast hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan's most famous monastery situated at 3180 meters. Guru Rinpoche (the great spiritual master) is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. The monastery is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro Valley. Overnight stay at Paro.

    Return home

Notes :

  • Indian nationals intending to visit Bhutan are required to carry any of the two valid 'Travel Documents' (a) Valid Indian Passport having validity of minimum 6 months; and/or (b) Voter Identity Card, issued by the Election Commission of India
  • 500 & 2000 Indian Rupee notes are not allowed in Bhutan, Please carry Indian rupees Notes of INR100 Only.
  • On tour Guests are requested to carry Original & 2 photo copy (xerox) of any Photo ID proof i.e. Passport / Voter's ID along with them. Also submit a copy of the same at the time of booking.
  • Children below 5years  can carry  Original - Birth certificate (only in English, any other language they will not be allowed to fly from the origin itself) or Passport
  • 6 to 17 year old – School Id original in English or Passport
  • On tour guests have to carry 4 passport size photograph for registration.
  • Vehicle will be provided according to group size.
