1

ARRIVE AT HO CHI MINH

Today we fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival we explore the city of Ho Chi Minh, we visit Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office, former US Embassy and Cho Lon including Thien Hau Pagoda. We then visit the War Crime Museum which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and the documentation of Vietnam's war with both the French and the Americans, Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of April 1975. HO CHI MINH – CUCHI TUNNELS - MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH

This morning you will start to explore a part of Vietnam history at the famous Cuchi tunnels. Learn about this incredible underground system of tunnels and see what daily life was like during the Vietnam War. Try special tea and cassava (Guerilla’s food during the war). Afterwards return to city for lunch then continue to Mekong delta. Upon arrival you will take a boat trip on Tien river. Enjoy sightseeing of a floating fish market along the Dragon island on the way. Pass through Xep canal in Ben Tre (land of coconuts) to see the coconut collection set and learn how locals make handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to traditional music. Take the Moto Car (Xe Loi) on the village path and stop at Mr Nam Ngo orchard, where you can taste honey with tea or wine. See bees breeding in wooden boxes under longan trees. Take a rowing boat along water palm creek. We also take a boat to see the local people make coconut candy and we can also taste it. Afterwards return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City.

DA NANG CITY TOUR - HOI AN

Today we take a flight to Da Nang and proceed to Hoi An – an ancient town which was declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO is now a peaceful town of exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles and traditions. We take a walking city tour and discover a 400-year-old Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Fujian (assembly hall). See a different side of Hoi An when all the roads, houses, restaurants and cafes are illuminated by thousands of lanterns, creating a magical glow. We then take a Lantern Boat Ride on the Hoai river and witness the town's architectural wonders come to life under the shimmering lantern lights. Overnight in Da Nang

BANA HILL WITH GOLDEN BRIDGE, HANOI

After breakfast we proceed to Sun World Ba Na Hills. We drive on one of the most beautiful roads of the city and arrive at the cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Hills. Enjoy the cable car ride offering spectacular views of Da Nang and the surrounding forests. We first visit Golden Bridge – the Bridge has a design of it being held in two giant hands and it offers some spectacular views of the Vietnamese countryside. We also enjoy the other attractions such as Le Jardin, Wax Museum, French Village, Pagodas and Alpine Coaster. Then we see Dragon Bridge and other illuminated bridges on the river Han. In the evening we take a flight to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

HANOI - HALONG BAY

Transfer to Halong bay for a cruise. Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board a traditional boat – set sail through the limestone islands – have a nice seafood lunch – take a sampan ride to visit a traditional fishing village – return to the boat and attend a short cooking class – time to rest on the upper deck at sunset and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight on board the cruise.

After breakfast, we disembark from the cruise and we proceed on a city tour of Hanoi. Overnight at Hanoi

ANGKOR WAT

Visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag. Enjoy a wonderful sunset from the top of Phnom Ba Kheng Temple. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, Srah Sran and Prasat Kravan. Also visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Enjoy a foot massage in the evening. Overnight in Siem Reap.
