Today we enjoy Whale watching cruise which offers the chance to spot humpback whales, mink whales, white-beaked dolphins, and more. We then visit Blue Lagoon - a geothermal spa and is set in the middle of the black lava field. Then we visit the Aurora Museum to understand the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights. After breakfast we proceed to FlyOver Iceland where we enjoy a virtual tour of Iceland's history and natural wonders! See the most beautiful places in Iceland from a bird's eye. Moving on to Akureyri we proceed on a city tour, where we pass by the Lutheran church, a beautiful Fjord water front area, Old town and more. Overnight at Akureyri.
After breakfast, depart for day trip to Diamond Circle. Today we will visit Godafoss waterfalls,Lake Myvatn area covering Dimmuborgir lava field, Namaskard boiling mud pools and Forest Lagoon Natural bath. Evening drive back to Akureyri. Overnight at Akureyri.
After breakfast, check out from Akureyri and proceed to Borgarnes, on the way we will visit Into the Glacier. This is Europe’s second largest glacier, and takes you on a guided tour in monster trucks to the entrance of the ice tunnel, 1200 meters above sea level. Later visit Hraunfossar & Barnafoss waterfalls, later proceed to hotel and check in. Dinner & Overnight at Borgarnes.
Today we proceed towards South Iceland and visit the waterfall Seljalandsfoss - the location where the famous song Gerua featuring Shahrukh Khan & Kajol was shot. Then proceed to visit Skogafoss, followed by Reynisfjara - BLACK SAND BEACH. Then we visit the Lava Tunnel - MANGO HOLIDAYS EXCLUSIVE - A journey into Raufarhólshellir is a unique experience and a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption as one walks in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred east of the Bláfjöll mountains about 5200 years ago. Every winter spectacular ice sculptures are formed inside the entrance of the cave making the experience of visiting the lava tunnel even more breathtaking. Overnight at Vik.
After breakfast we drive across the black sand plain Skeidararsandur before arriving in the majestic Skaftafell National Park. Here you can choose between many different hiking trails through the park. Then we continue east in order to reach the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland. Enormous icebergs constantly break off the glacier into the lagoon, melting slowly as they drift towards the sea nearby. Here we will take a boat tour (operational from May to November) and walk around the lagoon to enjoy this amazing landscape. Overnight at Vík.
Today we will proceed to Golden Circle Tour which covers Horse Farm, Pingvellir National Park,Geysir and Gullfoss. The hot spring area of Geyser, is one of Iceland’s most visited sights & we take a walk around the geothermal area. Later we will visit Gullfoss the biggest waterfalls of Iceland. Next we make our way to Pingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the geological wonders of the world & the movie Game Of Thrones was shot here. Then we visit Fridheimar Tomato Farm- where Tomatoes are grown in Green house using the Geo-Thermal Heat from the ground. Further proceed to the airport to board your flight back home.
